X-Pipe Hybrid midpipe also changes the sound of the BMW F97 F98 X3M X4M by first equalising the length of the exhaust from the first cilinder bank from cilinder 1-3 and the length of the second cilinder bank from cilinder 4-6. The equal length design creates a harmonious sound profile that sounds much more like a traditional straight six, sometimes the exhaust notes even sound like a racing engine. To mix the exhaust pulses from the first and second bank, we utilise a X-Pipe design with a certain length to create an even more exciting sound profile.
